There is a peaceful silence,
A silence that for once doesn't scream,
there is a vision,
A vision that, this time, is more than a dream.

There is a prescence,
A prescence that, though strong, means no harm,
There is a smile,
A sincere smile, with unbelievable charm.

There is a heartbeat,
Not a pounding but a rhythm within,
A symphony of comfort,
A melody, with harmonies waiting to begin.

There is a difference,
A difference in the way i see the world...
There is a hope,
A hope that maybe there is a future for this girl.

There is a hand in mine,
A hand that, for once, intends to stay,
There is an astonishment within me,
That leaves me with nothing left to say.

I lay my head in peace,
In a daze i watch my dreams,
This is no trick of the eye...
This is exactly what it seems.
