Vengeance in Innocence and Negation of Guilt
Be like you, I will not
Your life, I haven't sought
But still I do see
Parts of you within me
We live in bleak stagnancy
Within mutual insanity
I resist to tell
You silence your yell
But I hold the power
And we'll be here for hours
For the truth I withhold
Mustn't be told
And the fear you obtain
Cannot trump my pain
Is this really my punishment
--being questioned by some uptight gent?...
--A crime I didn't do
Toward some woman I never knew
That is the premise
Oh, and I'm the menace. (almost forgot)
Or at least that's what they submitted
when I was not acquitted
You, though, are here for "moral support"
However, consistently you've fallen quite short.
And I took that into account
When I was charged with one count.
As for us, we'll meet again
In our oh-so-long lifespans
And opposed to what you expect,
Fair warning, you're next.
