That Day of Doom
That day in the morning, when,
Dark clouds will cover the sky,
That day in the morning,
Dear birds won't fly as high.
That day in the morning, when,
All our peace will change to mourning.
Maybe that day we will see the light,
And realise the bitter truth-
We let our own Earth die.
The nature isn't the humans',
We are not supreme.
Then why are we exploiting it,
To the very extreme.
When shall we humans learn?
Will it be that day in the morning,
When our entire fate will turn,
When all our hopes will burn?
The countdown for that day has begun.
We need to take actions swiftly,
As out of time we run, and
The day of doom is threatening to come.
