Victory
don't underestimate me. i can erase you from my life and from my memories. like you never even knew me. don’t underestimate me. i have no patience left for fake friends, fake people. like you. you underestimated me. look where you’re at now. in tears, begging for me as your friend, how it used to be. i miss it too. but, you burned that bridge. you burned that bridge when you told me that, ‘i'm not like your new friends’. or when you said, ‘i’m old news’. or maybe when you whispered, ‘leave’. that's when the sparks flew. those words dragged across the cold steel floor of your heart. the sparks scattered across the ground. i tried to stomp them out, but they burned right through me. now here i lay, on the ground, a hole burnt through me, but i cover it, i can’t let you see it. i can’t let you think you beat me. i can’t let you win. you need to think you underestimated me.
