Loss
A loss is a stab in the heart, retaining me frozen in time.
Tears bleed out like a recent paper cut.
The person in the mirror is someone I don’t recognize anymore.
Grief struck thoughts flood my mind as life goes by
Blocking me from the life I could have had.
The blood pools around me as I hide my face,
Dripping from my eyes as I walk away.
Not wanting to remember the knife stuck in my heart.
