Young
Young:
We’re all Sifting through the wasteland’s mites,
Hoping to come out into the sun’s bright light.
But no one knows what’s outside the boundary line.
Whether it be sun or it be scythe.
I know where the chemicals lie
But like forbidden love, I constantly end up by their side.
I don’t know why I cannot upgrade
To a world where everything is ok.
I suppose I’m stuck in the bottom rung
Until I grow up to be a corporate scum.
Stuck inside this bubble world.
Untouched by the horrors of the frozen world.
We’re all walking through our years of life,
Wishing that we could be truly, truly alive
