The Murky Gray River
Sadness shapes a murky gray river, drifting wanted feelings,
longing for affection, but instead left to stray.
The rocks in the water express stability in an empty room,
lingering the feeling of being safe, secureness of being on my own.
The movement of the river shows a black tainted circle,
loathing the feeling of not knowing the unknown.
The lake at the end of the river reveals a pure white box,
lathered with a sense of relief of being in the arms of a loved one.
