His cheeks redden,

Snowflakes falling on his hat.

Walking on slippery streets,

I hope we don’t collapse.

I can’t bear this season.

But with you, it’s different.

Your brown eyes glitter

Brighter than the Christmas lights.

I hope the neighbor plans

On hanging a mistletoe,

So I can sense the heat

Off your chilly lips.

My heart, warm like

Hot chocolate.

Only you can make this organ

Feel like home.
