Zuki stands at the bridge

with her rainbow babies in her mouth

She feels her fur get 

s  o  f  t  e  r 

               and

The ache in her heart is nurtured with  p e a c e

She misses her mother

but will keep her in a space deep within

She feels at home and safe

She no longer feels sick or in pain

She feels more alive than ever

And she knows

that she will r e u n i t e

with her mother
