I want to write a poem

No, I want to write a feeling

I want to write the wind

And I want to write the water

I want to write something that breathes

I want to write something with passion

And stillness

I want to write power and silence

And power in silence

I want to write of love and lies

And freedom and truth

And hair whipping in the wind

As a runaway wanderluster flees into the night

I want to write beauty and destruction

And heartache and tears

And strength in weakness

And death in life

I want to create

And to blaze for a moment

And then become ash

And I want to watch the ashes in the wind

And I want to be ashes in the wind

Floating free

Flying

I want to write a poem
