Hope

Hope is a camel,
plodding patiently through
the desert on slender legs,
never stopping, never tiring.
It may look gawky
and awkward and frail,
but it is strong enough to carry
the entire world on its back.
It stores everything
it needs inside itself.
It can survive
with almost nothing.
