Love? It's complicated

One week, one thousand emotions,
Love, hate, confusion, sadness, happiness, depression,
Of course, it was all for a girl.
I never thought it was possible to experience these many feelings in just a week,
But I proved myself wrong.
I hoped and prayed for the sadness not to come,
But unfortunately, the universe had other plans.
Going out with no smile,
Attending school with no smile,
Getting home with no smile,
Greeting my cats with no smile,
Life ran out of meaning.
Becoming “just friends” sounded easy, but again, I proved myself wrong.
