There were three kids; Klaus, Sunny, Violet.

They won't guess their future would be violent.  

Violet, the oldest, was very pretty

She liked to build items and was witty.

Klaus was the in middle who loved to read 

Without his glasses, he was blind it seemed.

Sunny was still a baby with one tooth

She'd chew through anything and it's the truth.

Their parents passed in a fire, like their house

They moved with a man who was like a mouse.

The man was count Olaf a skinny man

He was mad, mean, and had an evil plan 

He said he's a third cousin fourth removed  

Mr Poe believed him, the kids weren't fooled. 

And Count Olaf just wanted their fortune

But they tried to survive and not give in

Count Olaf was very tall, rude, and lean

No wonder he was really mean.

He was crazy and a murderer 

He had a girlfriend but he used her.

He was too focused on the fortune to do anything 

He claimed to be an actor and that he could sing.

He was a evil man, and he was greedy too

No one liked him and neither should you.

The children would go through a series of unfortunate events

From living in houses to living in tents.

They almost died multiple times 

But they stay together and sing rhymes.

Luckily, they survive in the end

 and live happily with their new friend. 

Count Olaf doesn’t make it sad to say 

But now the kids can live another day.
