Spring’s Song
Cherry blossoms hang
like ornaments
from trees,
little pink virgins,
dancing in the breeze.
Spring is a woman,
birthing
lilies, bees, and trees,
as clouds
fertilize earth,
with rain
from the sea.

This poem is the first poem that I was truly proud of, it’s just me reminiscing about spring and its beauty. Winter is such a dull season to me, I can’t bare to see the trees in such lifeless state, it’s almost as if they’re anorexic! So this poem was a way for me to cope with the monotony and depressive tendencies of winter.
