Quotidian Bike Ride In The Corona Jungle
Laughter and joy fills the dinner table
We devour the meal with celerity like a star-nosed mole
Packing and tracking the time before Helios sets
We picked our bike and biked out the door
Circling around the concrete jungle by the garage
We met and took off into the orange
We speed up our bike as the light turn white
Passing the trees seeking for lime ice
We passed the circus and the fountain
We traveled the bridge into the globe
The globe and pavilion stand tall above us
With three intersections taking different memories
The unisphere acted as our small water park
The pavilion set an eerie sensation
The path ahead took us to the duck-filled lake
Before the bright, white natural satellite rises
We biked and journeyed through the vast trees
We come back to the table reminiscing the nostalgic
With the bike all aligned, it stands ready tomorrow
The night closes with eager in tomorrow's bike ride
