SNOW
My feet in my boots
My boots on my skis
My skis on the snow
Snow on the ground
Now the snow has turned into slush
And then the trails filled with gravel and grass
Not the best for skiing upon
The snow did not last
It melted away quick
And never came back
We used to ski as a way of life
To survive
To Hunt
To Fish
To get around
Now we ski on snow we make
Pristine
The best ever known
A modern marvel
Snow that is made for only one purpose
Snow once was an obstacle
Now a sport
And soon to become history
As the world slowly melts apart
Unknown, what lies in the winter ahead?
Unknown, will we see snow again?
Unknown, is it to late?
So many unknowns to little answers
What will you do to keep snow an adventure?
