Shifting in analogy
Once an old, small, skinny tree branch
Once a lost mouse in the city
Wished to be a soaring tree
Wished to be filled with ease
Not to be looked down on by the birds
Up in the sky, wise and witty
Not to be judged by the does
Running Freely, very pretty
By neverending trying and dreaming
Turned into a great tree
Saged owl by the dusk
Fetching deer by dawn
Cheerful of what to come
Comforting for those around
Fathoming big bits and pieces
And there is still more to come
