LOVE IS
Love is a cup of coffee, sometimes burning hot, sometimes ice cold, but rarely served lukewarm.
Love is like oxygen, you need it to live but when asked to define it, you inevitably struggle.
Love is waking up in the morning and the only thing in my mind is you.
Love is trust and knowing that you think of me too. But what if you don't remember me?
what if you've forgotten all the nice times, all the nice things that I've said to you. what if you forget me?
I left you but you haven't left me. I remember the times we sat next to each other and the way you made me feel. it felt like love. it felt like drinking a warm cup of coffee and like trying to define oxygen.
but sadly I may never get to experience that warmth of you or trying to define my feelings for you. Love is like trying to write a poem, the words are there but putting them together is difficult and sometimes wrong.
