Stages of Grief

You always hear of adults losing their parents, grandparents,

Friends, and other family members.

Losing anyone in your life is tragic no matter the way they die.

But have you ever stopped and thought about if you got the

News your parents, grandparents, close friend, or any other

Family member you were close with died.

Some can’t imagine, some can, and some have lived it.

Everyone goes through grief whether it's at a young age or

Older age.

The first stage is denial.

You refuse to believe they're gone even though they are.

The second stage is anger.

Anger while going through grief is the scariest emotion to have.

It can cause you to lose your temper on the smallest things.

The third stage is bargaining.

Bargaining is the saddest part of grief because as much as you

Cry out for them they won’t come back.

The fourth stage is depression.

Depression is a big thing it causes you to do things you

Didn’t know you could.

The final stage is acceptance.

This is the longest stage because it takes so long to finally

Accept it and continue to live and find coping mechanisms.

Losing someone is like watching a flower die and wilt away

Grief is the hardest thing you go through in life, but you’re

Not alone.
