winter's gentle caress seizes my soul,
but I hold fire in the little spaces between our interlaced fingers.
a gaze held, two seconds too long.
your eyes pierce me, oh helen of troy,
your eyes pierce me, ever so softly.
the candle, valiant, the darkness cowers,
a little messiah, burning bright.
a warrior that illuminates the darkest recesses of my heart,
your smile heals me, oh vain aphrodite,
