Day and Night
I awake and walk to my window
There the oh so lightly sun shines
Through the clear glass
The birds sore so beautifully above the blue sky.
The flowers grow slowly but
Lovely everyday as I stare to the ground
The mist gently leaves
And sprinkles of water stay on the silent grass.
Later night comes and darkens the sky,
The stars twinkle and the moon sings to me
Yet there is still life at night as the same at day
The bats hunt for food and the frogs lightly sing
The day ends,
We lie on our clouds and fall asleep
There we dream of
Sweet dreams or a beautiful nightmare.
