Fair Warning
Take a fair warning from the heart.
A heart so broken and damaged.
It's a mystery how it's still beating out of tune.
Strings worn out by the man you're looking at.
The one with the twisted bow
but with the voice sweeter than a seraph's.
Play the keys how you wish them to sound.
Burn the songs sitting at his piano.
 And create your own.
The strings of your heart are still in tune.
Let the world hear your songs.
 Sing to the moon.
