Rhythms
As I've learned in the past
 No good thing can last
 So try and be gentle
 With my fragile heart

 Only one made me smile
 Its been quite a while
 Since he's been history
 And now its you

 More than once now
 I don't know how
My heart's been broke in two
And now it's a thousand pieces

 You could always try
 Like every other guy
 To glue them all together
But that's not what I need

 So talk to me
 Feel the beat
 Of the bass guitar
 And then play along

To the rhythm of our hearts.
