Welcome to the other side of the world
where things aren't so sweet
and life isn't so pleasant.
where you can't walk around in your bare feet
and you aren't nearly as free.
where people are dying
and you're easily hurt.
where there aren't pretty rainbows
and things are quite grey.
where you aren't perfect
and things do go wrong.
where tears exist
and they're more common than smiles.
where pain is unbearable
and there isn't a cure.
where sometimes you'll fall
and no one is there to catch you.
welcome to the other side of the world
welcome to reality.
