Winter Wonderland?
People say the Winter time is wonderful,
It seems that way for everyone but me,
To me Winter is more like a death trap,
A nightmare for the everyday klutz.
A chance for embarrassment just waiting for me,
I walk carefully down the icy steps,
Trying not to fall,
But without a doubt,
I fall, and land,
SPLAT!
On the concrete.
I took my dog on a walk down the street,
On the only day it wasn't supposed to snow,
About halfway down the road,
A blizzard sweeps me into the gutter,
I'm sitting there and my dog starts to bark,
I see bright lights glimmering through the snow,
A loud,
VROOM!
It's the snowplow.
As winter carried on,
I was involved in a series of freak-accidents,
These accidents occurred while I was,
Skiing, sledding, driving,
Even while I was decorating my Christmas tree,
As you can tell,
Winter is not my season.
