I sit next to my friend, and he pokes my arm playfully.
He has the build of a quarterback, and a heart of gold.
I used to like him, truth be told.
I liked the way he smiled, sorta like a smirk.
I liked the way he showed me around and helped me get by.
I liked the way he explained when I didn’t understand
I liked they way he’s always excepted me just as I am.
Even when I had braces and frizzy hair
He was still by my side, taking me along for the ride.
I liked the way he felt bad when I cried
And I liked they way he asked what was wrong whenever I sighed

I sit next to my friend and we share a computer in class.
I go on google earth and he types in my address.
We whisper back and forth
We avoid doing our work.
It’s been awhile but he’s still the same.
Time always goes by but somehow we always reunite.
We’re the perfect pair, a dynamic duo, a lovely sight.
