Today my heart played a song for you
Every note
Every key played
Was an emotion strung and plucked from harmony
And as I sit here now
Surrendering myself to this smoke
Fading wisps of silver bliss
Meeting with parched lips as I inhale pure ecstasy
I have to think
That this mode of being
The way that we are
Makes you all the more interesting
