A Single Tear

A single tear falls down a pale cold cheek.
It falls to the ground causing a small spatter.
It rests, and several others join that single tear.
Can you see these tears in your mind?
Can you feel them ricocheting off your skin?
A single tear turns to dozens as I sit alone.
Each tear is a part of you leaving me forever.
Your smile,
Your love,
Your jokes,
Are gone now and they shall never return.
They shall lie there on the floor of my heart, forgotten, forever.
