As I lay in the prison of my own mind,
I watch you, you walk with so much self confidence.
It is because of you that I am so comforted to know there are people like you.
Because, to be honest Im not one of them.
And so I will think of only you...and since I'm no good for you,
time will slow to a grinding hault for me.
As seconds go by, they drag on like minutes.
As Minutes go by, they drag on like hours.
As hours go by, they drag on like days.
As days go by, they drag on like weeks.
As weeks go by, they drag on like months.
As months go by, they drag on like years.
Now as i look back, I see what I have missed....
Now you're happily married with four fantastic children.
And me?
This Asylum is my new home.
