I can almost remember
that sweet warm moist air
that used to blow around me
gently
quietly
and the lush green grass
and the stars at night
and almost
the twinkle in your eyes
its kind of funny
in a really sad, sad way
how two seconds
can change your life forever
'cuz when that car came along
speeding down the highway
i lost you forever
and i'm trying to remember...
but honey i just can't
and i'm sorry
but last summer is done
and i'm trying to move on...
