That Dreaded September Day
On that one September day,
Everything changed.
Innocent people, minding their business
Why did they have to leave?
All their families
Are mourning and crying.
What do they tell their kids?
The towers collapsed,
Sealed people’s fate,
Guess who won’t be home tonight.
The planes crashed, destroyed the towers,
Destroyed families and lives.
Look across the table and see the faces.
Look again and now they’re gone
On that dreaded September day.
