The Ship
Across black waters it sails.
The wood across its hull is warped and blackened.
The sails are torn and dead.
Rails are broken and hanging.
The ship Thanatos is dead, wrecked, yet it still sails.
Across its rotting planks, souls amble, awaiting their day of final rest.
They live for eternity on Thanatos, never to leave its bounds.
The captain forever sits in his cabin, unmoving behind his logbook.
The ship sails in the dark, forever capturing those whom are lost at sea.
The ship Thanatos.
