I am from a little place,

A place that’s very comforting,

Yet a place that is mine.

Secret to some,

A story to others.

I am from a little place,

Where I can shed tears,

Tears of sadness,

Tears of joy.

Whether it’s boy trouble,

School drama,

Family problems,

Whatever it is,

I know I have a place to go.

I am from a little place,

This little place,

Just happens to be,

My best-friends heart.

I just wanted to say thank you for commenting on my work!!! I love it when people actually write about what they read instead of read it and then go.

Anyway, I also wanted to say that I love this poem. It is very simple and has a lot of meaning.

My favorite part is how you always return to the line 'I am from a little place'.
