Best Friends
You stand by my side
We meet and we clicked
You stuck up for me when people were trying to put me down
We spend almost every weekend together
We share our secrets
And we share our journals and our teddy bears
I always mess with your little brother
And my little sister loves the heck out of you
And we hold hands and tell people to back off when they feel brave enough to tell us something about it.
My dad calls us the giggle monsters
And when we are apart we can’t make silly faces
Because we know they aren’t funny without the other girl
Most people ask us if we are sisters
We just look at each other then back at them giggle and say ya sure
We may not look alike but we are alike in the heart
Most people call us crazy and we just call ourselves best friends.
