"When life gives you lemons, make grape juice; then sit back and watch the world wonder how you did it."

Armies clash and whistles sound,
More people fall in vain.
Heroes weep and one voice wails:
“The Old must die before the Young may rule!”

Two men face off across the way.
One starts screaming, the other shouts;
And the crowed chorus cheers:
“The Old must die before the Young may rule!”

People raise a cry and clamor.
One says this; another that.
Few voices cease to sound, and many say:
“The Old must die before the Young may rule!”

Thousands walk and many more
Come the other way.
Marchers chant and hundreds roar:
“The Old must die before the Young may rule!”

Some people hear and heed the words
Echoing through histories past.
Some sit by the wayside and let others sing:
“The Old must die before the Young may rule!”

Yet others take the words to heart
And many voices fall. Some are killed,
Yet others silenced. All sides cease to call:
“The Old must die before the Young may rule!”

One child; all alone; cycles through the histories.
Sees nations fall and groupthink changed.
Good and evil and shades of grey:
Lulled into deceptive states.

The child looks and thinks and wonders
Ponders on time passed by.
Finally one voice speaks out:
“The Old must die before the Young may rule!”

And the oft lamented:
“The Old must die before the Young may rule!”
