When the world comes crashing,
what will become of us?
People step up to the edge jumping,
how can they do that?
I see myself running,
even when death is inevitable,
you ask?
If you quit trying,
than is life just disposable?

When the world comes crashing,
I don't want to live
like I'm dying.
I'm living for tomorrow,
so today means something,anything.
Trick my mind into assuming
tomorrow will come.
To protect myself from living
halfway in the grave.

When the world comes crashing,
will what we did matter?
Everything important in life
will fade into nothingness.
How much money you had,
How successful you were,
How attractive you had been,
trickles into the tsunami
rushing to destroy
all you've ever known.

When the world comes crashing,
all succumb to their true form.
Instinct will overshadow reason.
Survival,the need to protect,
and defend.
Regrets once so important
return to the coward,
crying in the darkest corner
begging for a black hole.

When the world comes crashing,
I'll be fighting
to see the next day.
I'll be fighting
for my hopes and dreams.
I'll be fighting
to keep my sanity.
I am fighting
for myself alone.
Mother Earth, the Universe,
Society, all the world
can take a number.

Great! I love it! I think it would be a life-saver if someone thinking about suicide read it. I hope everyone that reads this lives for their tomorrow, I know I will be.
