A time you’re happy,
And proud of what you’ve done
But now you’re on your own
No one cared enough to come

Maybe they’re too busy,
That’s why you didn’t see them there
Or maybe they had time,
They just really didn’t care.

A time when you are proud
Cause you’ve finally got it right
Worked hard and never quit,
You never gave up the fight

Classmates with their family,
Your smile lights your face.
Though you stand on your own,
You’ve finally found your place.

I know it sounds like heartbreak,
But it’s really not that bad.
It’s a bittersweet beginning
Without the things you thought you had.

This is a very well writen poem, very relatable. I think most, if not all, people feel like this at one point or another. Great job! :D

A really good poet write so that the reader can walk in their shoes just for that one minute. Victoria Jones

This is a great poem with a very good message if u look deep enough. That u are th only person that u need to prove anything to. It also flowed nicely too. KEEP WRITING (thank u on commenting on my poems)
