The morning bird sings,
as the river water rushes,
as the sun shines bright.
The morning bird sings,
as the mother bear protects
her cubs from harm,
as the distant mountains sigh
for relief of the hot, morning sun.
The morning bird sings
as my heart does for you,
as my spirit longs for you.
The morning bird sings
as my mind thinks of you
and your beauty,
as my body aches
for your touch.
