When your face pops up in my mind,
It comes along with the word "why."
Why did you think that you had to say-
Why did you have to want it that way?
You could've never changed
And we could've stayed the same.
Why did you have to be that way?
You could've stayed strong.
So I wouldn't have to sing this song.
So I wouldn't hate remembering that day.
Why did you have to get me down?
Why did you have to even make a sound?
Why did you have to ruin what we had?
Why did you have to go and make me sad?
