Bound
I am in a world not entirely my own.
I am unable to move. Unable to speak.
The line between dreams and reality have been blurred.
Neither myself nor the one I yearn to be.
The middle ground where there is nothing, but empty thought.
Things there do not exist nor will they ever.
There is no way out. I wander to no avail.
I panic. What will I do?
Am I forever lost in this middle world?
Screams escape my throat. Frustration.
Tears stream down my face.
Sadness.
A smile plays on my lips.
Satisfaction.
The corners of my mind bind me to the things unreal.
Feelings return to my limbs. I can speak once more.
"Congratulations. You are free to go"
