Favorite Quote:
"Fear is only in the mind"

Drums pound loud,
My brain beats with the sound,
Fingers tearing at the walls,
Empty beds and ragged dolls,
Colors of ember,
Swirl and twirl,
Locks and chains of closed doors,
Icy rock, biting and broken,
Shutting eyes have spoken.

The author's comments:
the poem could be taken several ways but, it was mainly about the trapped feeling of child abuse, and the anger and confusion that went along with it.
