My Prayers
November 27, 2010
You may not want to hear this.
Or you may not care.
But I thought I'd let you know.
That you'd be in my prayers.
Every night before bedtime.
I fold my hands beside my bed.
Whisper a little prayer to God.
That your safe inside my head.
You might not understand.
A single word I'll say.
But I love you and so does He.
In every imaginable way.
Every night you fall asleep.
Before you close your eyes.
I wish you the best of dreams.
While your in my prayers tonight.
