I tiptoe out the house
and on the breeze
I soar to your front door
I would be done now
but I am
invisible
I climb a tree
to your window
and hop in
you are sleeping
so you don't notice
when I sit beside you
the mattress curving
under my weight
my fingers lightly tapping
a Morse Code message
on your perfect paper wrist
you mumble
but you think I'm just a dream
because
how could I
be in your room
invisible?
