Sex on the Dance Floor
Remember when dancin’ was a freedom of expression
Music spoke of oppression, and not just people sexin’
Soulja Boy didn’t tell ‘em to walk it out or jerk
Not the stanky leg or dougie, but actual footwork
Not just grinding on the floor, but something more
Movement held power, you could feel it in your core
The rhythm and the words had significance
The foundation of a cause that made real sense
When they danced and sang, they let it all out
Their feelings and beliefs, they all would shout
Then came the fall, meaning lost to all
And we’re stuck here as they grind from the windows to the wall

Yet while they certainly are moving
 I wouldn’t call it grooving
When a girl gets low dancing like a little ho
Then, a boy jumps right behind
As her dress starts to rise
But heck no! I don’t want to see
 The making of your baby
 This isn’t national geographic
But your “dancing’s” way too graphic
As this ain’t time to freakin tap it

Why can’t all those in the mass
Act like they have some class
Cause the way they’re grinding now, it proves
That they don’t know how to dance, ain’t got no moves
 All they’re really showing
Is what scientists have been knowing
 That the population’s growing
Because of the act that’s ongoing
Here, So thanks for the science lesson
But I really must be confessin’
That I could do without the demonstration
Of that live display of procreation
