The Poetry Machine
One, two, three, four
I declare a rhyme war
Five, six, seven, eight
Come on now, don’t make us wait
So you think you can win?
Let’s see you take this for a spin
I hear words, you make no sense
'Cause all this rhyme makes people tense
Poetry's tough
If you lack the right stuff
If you can't stand the heat
If you can't take the beat
Don't try to rhyme
It will just waste your time
But if you think you've got it in you
Come in and show us what you can do
Throw us your all
Don’t let yourself fall
Give us your words
Clever poetry's not just for nerds
Show us that you’re up to par
Or you aren’t getting very far
Now I'm just saying
You'll have a hard time slaying
These words of mine
These words so fine
There's no beating me
I'm the poetry machine
