The dream of yesterday is the hope of today and the reality of tomorrow.

I want to tell you
That I'm sick of your lies,
That I hate your guts,
And don't trust
What you deny.

I want to tell you
To mind your own business
And stop getting in my face,
Making vile the food that I have only begun to taste,
Constantly getting on my case.

I want to tell you
To stop telling rumors
Malicious enough
To cause the growth of tumors,
In your mouth.

I want to tell you
That I need help.
But the damage
Is beginning to confine me
To a silent cage
Of ceaseless pain.

But 'I love you too'
Is the stubborn response that comes out
Instead.
Over and over again.

The author's comments:
This is my rendition of a love poem... I may be a little pessimistic. But I hate the feeling of being trapped into saying 'I love you too' when you have fifty other things you'd rather say or when you just feel like its the accepted response, but you don't really mean it.

I know exactly how this feels.

I dont like the tumor rhyme. seems a little much, a little bit of a stretch. but The rest is very good.
