Can You See Me?
Can you see her?
That girl right there.
The one with the smile on her face,
who laughs withut a care.
The one with tears in her eyes,
who still holds her head up high.
The one hiding a troubled soul,
masking her weakened control.
The one slowly losing it all,
with no one to help as she slowly falls.
The one with hair in her face,
covering her shame.
The one with scars on her wrist,
hands clenched in a fist.
The one holding the razor blade,
every single day.
The one who pretends it's okay,
even as her serenity fades.
The one who is ugly,
light reflecting in a broken mirror.
So can you see that girl?
Can you see me?
