"Common sense is not so common." ~Voltaire

Future mankind walks through the deserted night streets,
Headlights, blurry vision, blazing pulses of light
Massage the suppression of words
Cataclysmic waves are the purification of the turbulent dragon
As it stretches across the horizon of endless dunes
Blooming forestry and broadleaves flower in the wild mountains
As ancestors overlook the zeal and culture
And your diligence and boundless pain
Flames becoming the luxurious beaches as life devotes
In the future revival cycle in faith and summer
As the ancient exuberance and in its majesty
Needs to be heard in the vital village
As faith before risk in its power and dependency on sleek solutions
And tonight before caring relief

I work in the library's storage room of old magazines. I decided to take an old National Geographic about China and circle words that stood out to me, and this found poem was born. I'm not quite sure it describes China that well, but I think its pretty good.
