When I sleep
When I laugh
When I’m upset


I think of you
When life gets hard
When I can’t think
When I can’t explain


I call for you
When I fall down
When I weep


I feel you
When I realize it


I love you
And until then,

When you’re upset


Think of me
When you can’t explain


Call for me
When you fall down


Reach for me
When we’re together


Love me.
Because that’s all we’ll need.

For Valentine's Day, our teacher told us to define "love". Rather than try to explain that my relationships haven't shown me what love is supposed to be, I just thought of you :)
