Flood of Tears

Silence floods the room until it seems the world is empty,
the words replaying in our minds
how could it really be true?
How could the world still be in motion?
How could life still be flowing as steady as a river?
Even with the truth suddenly pouring out
and all of the secrets uncovering
and now finally we realize the flood is now of tears.
The silence has vanished into thin air
only replaced by the cries of mourn and love

Great poem, it's really descriptive and intense. Your imagery is very impressive, I wouldn't mind reading more of your stuff.

I really like your poem a whole lot. It even made me cry some just by reading it. But it was really good, and I hope you will write some more poems soon. :)
